Saints may stay longer in New Orleans
On the News in Baton Rouge last night was a snippit about LA trying to lure the Saints from New Orleans. But they said Tom Benson was resigned to the fact that a new stadium was not going to happen and that the State was going to do a $150 million renovation to the Dome and the Saints might match that to gain interest in the Stadium. Currently the organization is working out a longer term deal with the State.
UPDATE: Gov. Foster-No More Smoking In The Dome Gov. Foster just signed a bill that will prohibit smoking anywhere in the Superdome for any events. I guess this includes the annual Tobacco Industry convention. :D |

Yes in fact there is. Our beloved Gov. has decided to put it off on to the next man up. LOL. He wants no part of it. Of course most of the time he wants no part of anything.
