RE: question about the field conditions?
It won't make a difference one way or the other. They will just adjust the cleat length they use for this game. Remember, regardless of the conditions, your opponent has to play on the same field that you do.
Seriously, some of us are really making a mountain out of the weather molehill in Chicago... |

RE: question about the field conditions?
It will take more than snow to take the Saints off track, I'm not worried about the possible snow.

it is cold and snowy
I live 40 miles north of Chicago and we have light snow/sleet right now. It gets better as you go further south and where Solider Field sits is right on the border--however, the field is also right on the lake and that often makes things worse.
And yes, I am pulling HARD for the Saints! You cannot believe how obnoxious Bears fans are! I swear I will wear by Drew Brees jersey to work next week if the Saints can prevail! |

am i the only one who thinks the weather will help us?
first, im not worried about how we play in the cold, sure we lost to pittsburg but we put up damn near 40 points in that game. We put up 30 in NY. We still move the ball fine in the cold weather. second, all this does is make fred thomas' job easier in my opinion and thats who im worried about. The wind, the snow, the bad field conditions all add up to a running game won in the trenches and ill take our running game against their. You take away or at least minimalize the deep plays that thomas gives up and our defense is that much better. or am i just overly optimisic for once? |

Pressure on Grossman is the key. Rattle him early and it will be a short game.
