Sean Payton would never put up with the TO B*LL S**T. Look at the players he has brought to the Saints, character guys, I dont think TO falls into that category.
THANKS FOR A GREAT YEAR! |

No, I don't see Payton leaving. I see this as a very good thing. A lot of the assistants and personnel will probably be changed over in Dallas - meaning the Saints will have a good shot at picking up players/coaches that Payton wants.

I spoked with my cousin this morning who lives in Kenner. Him and his fiance waited outside the airport to welcome our Saints home. As the caravan of Saints members drove out, the players were met with a smaller crowd of fans. Our boys were supposed to land at 10:30, but the flight was delayed until 1:30 AM. So there was a smaller crowd by the time they did get in. Players who saw the fans, honked their horns, and thanked their fans. My cousin got to meet Sean Payton amidst all this. Payton had driven slower along the side of fans, literally stretched half his body out of his car, and shook hands along the way.
When my cousin got to shake Sean's hand as he passed by, Sean looked at my cousin in the eye and said, "Thank You so much, this means alot to me." My cousin said it was a heartfelt genuine response from the head coach. So you see, there is no possible way Payton can get up and leave after a season like this. I've only grown to respect Payton even more after hearing this. He's done an awesome job with this team and given us a profound sense of hope for the future. WHO DAT BABY!! |

Who would leave a team after 1 year? That makes no sense.
What ties does he have to Dallas? Very little, now that Parcells is gone. Payton still has a little work left to do in New Orleans before he can worry about trying to build up another team. |

I heard this on the radio while driving home and my first thought was......SHOOT, They may go after Payton. I don't believe Payton would leave, but I also don't see a thriving coaches market this year. I guess we'll see in time.

wow... once again... HE CANT JUST LEAVE... dallas cant even talk to him without requesting permission from the saints that would be tampering and would be a considerable fine plus loss of draft picks from the cowboys plus there hasnt even been word that they are interested in him... its all media hype.. dont believe all the B/S
