crazy feeling
My friends and I were sitting around talking before the game last week and we were saying that we really wouldn't know how to act if the Saints went all the way. Ive been a Saints fan for so long( any Saints-only fan knows what im talking about) and am so used to them losing. Did anyone else wonder how they would react to the Saints going the distance, or is it just me?? I cant even watch espn because the Bears keep popping up. After seeing the post where the 40 year old still lives with his mama fat virgin bear fan is holding that Katrina poster and smiling, the Bears have moved past the Falcons to #1 on my enemy list

It still hasn't hit me that they made it to the NFC Championship.
I'm sure it will after the Super Bowl. |

I know exactly what you are talking about. I think that we all just kind of went with the first emotion that came to us. Mine was anger. I haven't watched ESPN since before the game, and I'm having a hard time picturing myself watching the Superbowl as well. I guess the wounds haven't healed yet. I'm sure in time, we will all get back to normal.

I am going to sit down and watch the SB and root for Manning to get his ring. I don't think it should affect anything or anyone who is playing. What we should all be glad about is that we have a team that represents us every year. No matter how poor or how close we come to the SB at least we have a team, at least we have a chance every year... ok this one year more than any other.
What it all boils down to is that its football... football the greatest sport on the planet and we have a team! I mean its not like we are in San Antonio or Los Angeles, lol. Oh wait I live in Los Angeles now, DUH! |
