Montana to tutor Brooks?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I just read on another forum that somebody heard Haslet say last night that we were bringing JOE MONTANA in during training camp to work with Aaron Brooks. Can anyone confirm this? I think its brilliant!...

Montana to tutor Brooks?

I had read earlier they were bringing in a Hall of Fame caliber person to mentor Brooks but I was expecting some old timer or something. I am a pessimist when it comes to Brooks aquiring any knowledge or anything from anyone, even Joe Montana. I would like Brooks to learn how to have a presence on the feild like Montana had.

My opininion.

Well, if you wanted to teach Brooks how to be a leader, I don\'t think you could pick a better mentor than Montana. If only a 10th of Montana were to rub off on Brooks, we\'ll go to the Super Bowl.
EDIT: Maybe Montana feels pity for the Saints organization after all those times he whipped our asses. :P

Anybody else notice the irony in this...
Last year-Falcons bring in x-49\'er Steve Young to tutor Vick, worked well
This year- Saints bring in x-49\'er Joe Montana to tutor Vicks cousin

I\'d say the Brooks-Vick family is the most 49\'er-tutored family in football!

It\'s not a joke. Haslett announced it after yesterday\'s practice.
