Wow~Check out this Kid

All the talk about signing Graham in the offseason we forgot about Miller. He has really come on at the end of the season, and is better for the short-term in terms of money. But now for what I really posted for:

Rodney Hannah TE - 6'8" 255lbs (Houston University)

Can you say the next Antonio Gates? Hannah has outstanding size (6'8" 255lbs), speed (4.55), and quickness for the TE position and has as much potential at the position as anyone in the draft. He went to the U of Houston for basketball and played it in his freshman, sophmore, and junior years before deciding to switch to football for his senior year. Hannah's incredible triangle number's will indeffinately catch the attention of NFL coaches after the success of Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates

from FootballsFuture

Talk about Colston being a sleep, this guy isn't even on teams draft board, neither on draft sites. We don't need to go TE so early in the draft, maybe 5th round I'd say. The guy runs a 4.5 at 6'8"! C'mon he's unstoppable, I'm in love with em

And the thing about his speed is true. The guy is actually 6'8" and runs a 4.5, I couldn't believe it. Here's the link I read it from[/url]

I he slides to the second day (which it sounds like he sound given his lack of experience), I am all for spending a late round pick on him as a project for the future.

Houston had a nice season last year - should've beat Fla St., and their passing game is awesome (wouldn't mind getting QB Kevin Kolb on the Saints either). But I'm a little worried about his blocking w/ such height and lack of experience. Could turn out to be another Gates or might end up being a beta version of Hilton. We'll see.

RE: Wow~Check out this Kid

Question is can he block. We need an every down TE. Hilton had the same problem. too tall and no bend at the hip. If he run a 4.5 maybe he could be a #3 WR.

A #3 WR at 6'8 and 255... That would be so sweet. Imagine having him in the slot. You gonna put a nickle back on him to match his speed or a LB to match him size wise?

Yeah, even through his lack of experience the kid still can pick up a block. Not much of a Conwell blocker but more of a Chad Lewis type blocker. He uses his height as force, and working with our coaches he can really turn it up. He has the speed, leaping ability, and soft hands that we need on this team. He was so underrated b/c Houston was a team that got the ball to almost 14 different players a game. Besides he a was back-up that switched to football his senior year, and really impressed the coaches with his progress

I like him, say 6/7 round player, maybe he can go undrafted. The guy has potential and I would love to see him thriving at TE for us, since we had Boo Williams, we haven't had any but blockers.

He is not on the combine list.
Yet Houston QB Kevin Kolb is so anyone looking at his tapes will see the kid.
nice job
