Why are they starting Ken Irvin?
Anyone know why Irvin got the starting nod over Craver? I understand that he has more experience but wasn't the big preseason battle between Hawthorne and Craver? That tells me that those guys are the next best after Thomas. Besides if I'm not mistaken didn't Irvin drop 2 easy interceptions on Sunday? I gurantee you that Craver would've pulled both of those down. I would much rather see Hawthorne and Craver in there as starters against Favre this week.

From the looks of things you probably will see that starting lineup this weekend. With Fred Thomas hurt, who else is there?I like Craver but i too am afraid of his inexpierence. If the football Gods are with us this weekend, he\'ll play and have a great game.

This is probably the best week for craver to start. Green Bays inexperience at WR should make it a little easier to adjust. Good time to play both of them.

It should be fine. If Terry Glenn is your biggest threat, that isn\'t saying much. Favre seems to like Driver, and Ferguson, who knows. I would worry mor with Franks and the short passes, our linebacking crew should be on their toes, with Green and Franks.
And Glenn will probably either burn a big joint before the game or get injured this week or complain about his contract, a head case. [Edited on 12/9/2002 by subguy] |

The only big playmaker they have is Green. If they stop him its a win. Farve is great, but he doesnt have enough weapons anymore. Driver had a decent game last week but only for a couple of series. He caught 4 passes on one drive and didnt do much the rest of the game. Green is the key if the LBs keep him in check and they play with the lead better than last week this should be an 2-0 start.
