In a complete dislocation: Drew Brees' elbow
For those of us who like to be know it alls. here is a discription and X-Rays of a complete dislocation of the elbow and other types of ways to mess the thing up. Yes the first pick is what happened to him.

I have assisted in several dislocation "replacements" in the ER (i'm a RN).... and although they are nasty to do the patients usually feel 100% better after.
As long as there were no chips or tears of mention he will be fine. Just sucks and is a big scare |

Players get hurt, it sucks but it happens. I don't think to a player, there is such thing as a meaningless game. True athletes compete whether they are in the Superbowl, or playing a pick up game at the park. Brees is a competitor, and he doesn't like to lose. He will be fine.
