Profootballtalk.com reports that Randy McMichael will be released before a contract option comes up Wednesday.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel later confirmed that McMichael will be cut Monday. While his stats look solid, McMike has struggled to catch the ball the last few years and isn't known as a great blocker.
