The bottom line is the NFL is a business. Joe was promised a contract, it wasn't going to honored. He felt very disrespected and took it personally. (who wouldn't?) So, he left! Its like you get a job and they hire you at an X per year salary but next year they tell you, sorry we have to cut your pay now and your getting demoted. Tell me you wouldn't quit and find another job! I am as pissed as anyone Joe is no longer here. But if he feels he can still play well (and we will see next season) and he is not going to get that opportunity here and can somewhere else, then he has to try. As for the Falcons, that sucks, I REALLY hate them but if they can use Joe and he can do the job and get his worth, then I guess thats where he'll be. Because its what he does, he's a football player. BUT... if he does decide to come back I will still welcome him with open arms, because what he has done for the city and the team the last 6 years can never be undone.
