RD 5: Courtney Brown DB Cal-Poly ?
NFL | C. Brown works out at Pro Day
Wed, 7 Mar 2007 02:06:35 -0800 Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Cal-Poly DB Courtney Brown measured a height of 6-1 3/8 and a weight of 200 pounds. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds and 4.32 seconds. He finished the short shuttle in 4.07 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.10 seconds. He had a 41 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-11 broad jump and completed 15 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. This kid could be a nice multi postion player in the secondary. Any body know anything about him? |

Not a single thing... number wise, it looks like he's going to be drafted.

forgot all about draft daddy for these division 2 guys
Cal-Poly cornerback Courtney Brown -- one of the better DB's in 1-AA football -- displayed a 41 inch vertical leap in front of N.F.L. scouts. http://draftdaddy.com/blog/blog.cfm A starter at cornerback, backed up by Andre Thomas ... Buck Buchanan Award candidate ... fourth year on defense after playing wide receiver as a freshman. http://www.calpolymustangs.com/footb...ios/brown.html |

Only 3 years at corner... sounds like he has a good amount of upside. Late round flyer and stash him on our practice squad.

Yeah I'd take em in the 5th or 6th. Sounds like he's one of those quiet good players. I like two CB's to take in the draft this year. Others should be DT, MLB, DE, TE, WR, S, and back-up Oline or K
