Hypothetical Poll: With Peterson's draft stock sliding, if he were available at 27; do you take him? Granted the chances of this happening are nil, he's probably a top 5 guy, but crazy things do happen. The Jets and the Texans do pick before the Saints, afterall. Thoughts? |

We would be nuts not to take him even if we don't need him. We didn't need Deuce when he fell to us years ago. Lets face it, Deuce is only going to get more expensive and sooner or later, we're going to either trade/release him. Bush/Peterson combo would just be unfair.
But you're right, chances of this happening is nil. Now if I see a cow jumping over the moon tonight, then that would be a different story. |

No freakin' way. That's ridiculous. We should not waste our first round pick, on ANOTHER running back, when we have two, locked down for a while. We must choose defense, and that's it. End of discussion. If it's not a CB, then Safety. Or even LB. Even DT, comes before RB.

I'd pick him if he's the best player at that time of the draft...
Chances are slim to none though that the Saints were to get him... |
