Drew Stanton, QB Michigan State
How does everyone feel about him in the late rounds? I have not kept up on what has happened with him, but he went from being the 3rd QB taken in the draft to a 4th or 5th rounder. He is the prototypical QB Tall, Strong arm, and mobile. With Brees mentoring him he could be a great number 2 guy.

I like the guy, but late.
There are a lot of of guys we can sign as a backup if we are unhappy with Martin. Brees is here at least 5 more years, so we shouldn't stress about his replacement just yet. I would rather get some depth that can contribute on special teams. |

I had him as the second best quarterback prior to last years disappointing season. Quinn, Stanton, and then Russell. It's amazing how much his stock dropped in one year.

I like Drew Stanton. Has all of the intangibles and with some good coaching and playmakers around him, he could develop nicely. I see him as either the third or fourth best QB. But I do not think getting him late is an option. He very well could be gone by the second.
But if we could get him, he fits nicely IMO. |

I'll pass on any QB's before the 5th.
We might not have glaring needs, but we are thin. If a lineman or WR goes down, then we are suddenly the Browns. I'd rather draft for depth than get a guy who is going to hold a clipboard for at least 5 years. Let's wait for Booty, Brohm... |
