you gotta love that kid!!!

On the other side of the coin, I can't wait to see what happens with Grant. Seems like most Saints fans are ready to see him hit the road....

That would be a mistake IMHO. The problem with Grant is that he's tweener in the defensive end position when it comes to talent. The guy is solid. But he's not a dominating top 10 end in the league. The problem is that the supply of solid guys in that position is few and far between. So they get paid and get paid well. So Grant is looking for top 10 money and unfortunately there are teams in this league that are prepared to pay him that top ten money.

The Saints need to think about how to reload that position. It's doubtful that they'll come to a long term agreement with Grant.

But I don't want to see the guy go personally.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

I would rather Grant stay around. I think his attitude and passion can really be infectious for that D. That said, he's not a top10 DE and he's not that vital to the system. Let him go if he's asking for too much $$$.

I say get the most out of him this year and then say adios.
Yeah, but it would be nice to get something in return. But the only problem is that we have no one else at DE thats ready to step up and be a 3 down starter. Thus, we would have to trade him and still be able to position ourselves to take a DE in the draft thats capable of filling that void.

I think losing Grant would be a big loss if the Saints were to lose him, if it was up to me he would remain a Saint, I really really like Grant..
