Nice lineup but , you kind of forgot about a couple of starters. First, we didn't sign MLB Brian Simmons to ride the bench and second, we didn't sign S Kevin Kaesviharn and his ball hawking skills to ride the pine. I think that will be our starting line up with the exception of K.K. at one of the safety position and Simmons at MLB.

We definately need to get younger at DT and get some depth at LB/CB/OL/WR. Our starting roster right now looks good on paper, we just need some depth and we should be straight. I think it's great that we don't have to draft someone this year and throw them into the limelight. We have a good team.

So, who plays nickel now? Freddy? Harper? gotta figure whoever it is is on the field for 40% of the snaps, probably more since our offense will keep us up by a coupla touches all year |

I think you will see a variey of nickel packages from the Saints this season. KK has the ability to step up and play nickel back in some situations and Freddy T's best seasons were as a nickel back. Also, if we draft a corner, I expect them to see some snaps at nickel back as well. Also, you see more and more teams running the ball out of multiple receiver sets and Harper would fit provide a run stopping DB in those situations. So overall I think you will see a variety of packages by the Saints D. Also, KK had success (remember against us) in blitzing from different schemes so him and Harper also add that dimension as nickel backs.
