this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; That must be some old news. Grant will not and cannot be traded. The Saints would take a 12 million dollar cap hit if they traded Grant...that is ridiculous....

Being the Saints just signed Grant to a very large deal there is no way he's going to Tampa IMO, as said they would have to give up a lot for him if a trade was to take place..

economics aside, why would the Saints trade away a cornerstone of the defense for an unknown in a year where getting to the SuperBowl is within reach? There's not enough the Bucs have that would make a trade beneficial.
Whatever this person heard, it can't have come from anyone within the Saints organisation, which means that person's either making it up or getting abused by his "source." |
