Colston was outplaying the league before he got hurt. Keyshawn couldn't outplay Wayne Chrebet, for crying out loud. As for the leadership aspect, no need for any more sheriffs than Brees and Deuce. ${big_mouth} != ${leadership} |

Bonus
He did not get a roster bonus. He wasn't due one, however he was due something like 2 million as part of his 5 million signing bonus from when he signed last year. So that is paid in-full but they don't owe him any futher money.

Veteran wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson was released by the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday, the St. Petersburg Times reported. "They said they wanted to get younger," Johnson told the newspaper. The move came a month after the Panthers paid Johnson a $3 million roster bonus, and three days after they selected another former Southern California receiver in the second round of the draft. http://abclocal.go.com/wjrt/story?se...rts&id=5262918 |
