Panthers release Keyshawn
The Panthers have reportedly released WR Keyshawn Johnson.
"They said they wanted to get younger," Johnson told the St. Petersburg Times. "That's fine with me. I'd like to go somewhere and help someone win another Super Bowl." The Panthers' decision to draft Dwayne Jarrett was apparently not so he could study under Johnson, then contribute in the future. Jarrett and Drew Carter are now likely to compete to start. LMAOOO he was sooo excited draft day on ESPN because the panthers picked him lol bet he is not too happy .... I think falcons could get him.... chargers????? hmmmmmmmmm.......
|
What would he cost for a year?
He has toned his attitude down a couple hundred percent, and was a postive influence on Carter and Colbert. I think he has been humbled by the Tampa experience and his role as Smith's second. I'd take him over Patten anyday. |

What I like
He seems to put himself out there and in the media's eye, hosting the draft for instance. This could get us more exposure...

Well, if he's thinking superbowl team, he's not thinking Falcons. Tampa isn't looking so hot either so unless it's the Saints he's not staying in the NFC South.
Other teams could be: Chargers, Bears, Seahawks, Broncos Still it is pretty funny considering how he was acting before the Panthers drafted a WR. |
i like keyshawn...i wouldnt mind picking him up.

I think Keyshawn could help a team I guess, just not the Saints, we're stacked with WR's so he really couldn't help the Saints..
I could see him with the Falcons though, he would fit in with Horn I suppose. Keyshawn has 1-2 years lefted in him but no more, he'll be on the ESPN set one day soon I'm sure. |
