this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I can think of 10 QB's I'd take before Moon. Aikman, Montana, Bradshaw, Favre, Manning, Young, Marino... I'd go with Winslow at TE. Senior, of course....

This thread would be much more interesting if it would be to arrive at consensus best ever at the different positions, and then come up with a consensus all time team.
I'm also surprised that Moon would be the choice for #1 all time, over (in any order) Elway, Montana, Marino, Aikman, Tarkenton, Starr, Graham, Baugh, Bradshaw, Staubach, Favre, Brees , Unitas, Brady, Manning, etc, etc... |

That's why it's his "My best all-time NFL team"... it's probably his favorite quarterback. Moon does have the numbers.

Warren Moon has thrown for more yards, than any QB in pro football. When you add the Canada league yards with the NFL yards. Although he should have began and ended his career in the NFL. But at the time they did not want a "brother" at QB.

Here's a Noll SB 4th quarter special teams moment: against the Cowboys Noll is so wary of having a punt blocked that he goes for a 4th and long, a handoff to Rocky Bleier and turns the ball over on downs at midfield. Give it to Noll for drafting and developing coaches, but not ST |

That's great and all, but in Canada, the field is wider, the endzones are twice as big, your WRs can get a head start, and you do not have the secondaries that you have in the NFL. And Doug Flutie had more success than Moon in the CFL, throwing for more yards than Moon in the same span of time, including most yards in a season.
