Did Walter Thomas sign pro football wk?

Pro football weekly transactions link has all of the 12 orginal players signed but not thomas so far as of may 8th.This is a good site to check always on the money.One gripe i have you fax the info to player he signs or not till he comes to mini camp.Over the years the Saints have lost some good ufda s to bad teams such as cow boys.Why not spend alittle money fly thim in an out just to make sure other nfl teams do not pull fast ones .

I think its a verbal agreement util the physical etc.an players have been signed to last min. deals with other teams.i think i recall the cowboys doing this to the saints afew times over the past years.This is why some teams spend the money to fly them in an out so the get the player to sign the doc.Some sign by fax like the LS in Canada etc. but i think some not done until just before rookie mini camp.Hope all is well but if the Saints Lost a player this way esp a real big time draft sleeper the things need to change on Airline drive.

May 1st was when i think the first 12 were anounced.However the way i remember the Saints have lost a few good ufda players to other teams at the last min.This could be taken care of by spending the money to fly the kids in an get the player signature phy. etc taken care of before mini rookie camp.when 20 to 25 % of all nfl roster made of ufda players you can not leave ahy stone unturned in the hunt for good players.Now when you have 3 ufda playetrs such as Palko MAc night THomas get it done soon as pob.Could be however due to his background a very thorough drug test is being done which takes longer.However if it shoud turn out the Saints lose players to other clubs for the sake of penny pinching i will not be a happy camper.
