Reggie Talks Ratings
Was Reggie Bush underrated in Madden 07? He certainly thinks so. by Jon Robinson May 9, 2007 - Reggie Bush was the highest rated rookie in the history of Madden, but bring the numbers up to Bush and he stares at you like you were the one who just passed on him with the first pick in the draft. "They only got my toughness at an 85…after that hit I took against Philly?" Bush says. "This is really bothering me," the electrifying runner continues, actually breaking down his numbers from last year. "97 player speed, 98 agility, 98 acceleration, 85 toughness, 99 juke moves. How does that average out to an 87? I don't get that. Four high 90's, one 85 and that averages out to 87 overall? "I'm no mathematician, but I know that four 90's and an 85…that doesn't add up right. Someone miscounted this." for the rest click here: http://sports.ign.com/articles/786/786766p1.html |

Maybe they mean emotional toughness.
You know, it's just a game Reggie. |

No, I think he just feels like he hasn't been given the respect that he wants....
Key word: WANTS. He knows that he has to EARN it and this will definitely be used as motivation for Reggie. He still has a lot to prove this year. |

well in reggies defense... he is a spokesman for madden this year as he was promoting the new madden 08 right before the draft so he is generally inclined to do these sort of interviews

It's a video game geezum. Just use yourself... rush for 2000 yards and 40 touchdowns. He'll be at 99 across the board in one season. Big baby! ^_^

just for the record, i am a big madden fan and the game really is pretty realistic. i thought reggie was higher rated than he should have been FOR HIS ROOKIE year but he will get even more credit this year (as he deserves) ...looking forward to seeing the saints entire roster and the improvements in the playbook in 08!! even if you dont play the game, its interesting to see an unbiased opinion of our team and the way people rate us. its all in fun....same with fantasy football (but i refuse to draft a saints player in fantasy football b/c of the emotional attachment)...any of you other fantasy football fans draft saints players??

At first blush, Missile, you might think like that, but after you've gotten experienced with fantasy football you realize that it can help you get over a loss. For instance, every year that I play I have players on my team that go up against the saints. I in no way root for those players to do well against the Saints outside of the Saints' victory. If they do well and the Saints win, then I am elated. If the Saints lose, I feel like at least I benefited in some way and that helps the hurt of the loss.
