Charles Grant Contract Details
According to NFL Players Association figures, the base salaries that formerly franchised Saints defensive end Charles Grant could earn on the seven-year, $63 million contract he signed last month total $24.8 million.
The huge deal includes $20 million in signing bonuses to be paid out this year and next. His base salaries will be $700,000 and $750,000 over the next two years before it increases to $1.85 million in 2009. After that, Grant's base salary escalates to $4 million (2010), $4.5 million (2011), $5 million (2012) and $8 million (2013). http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/teams/report/NO/10178592 Now I really like this deal. Makes the Smith is pissed bit even more silly. |

The way the front office writes up the contracts and the payouts for the money is very solid. Great deal on this one, and now Im not tooworried about resigning Will Smith and Colston.
