I wish I could put all the media talking heads into a box until mid-season. Cause just about anything they say has no bearing or truth it it at all.

Example:

Panthers superbowl, Saints 3-13 again, Eagles are done without McNabb, Tony Romo-fest, Steeler's contenders, Brees' shoulder, Reggie will blow the doors off of everyone from the start(he did later), Falcons will run the ball all over the Saints with their exciting "college style option" run game, Saints will lose to Eagles(won both), the list goes on and on...

Dude you and I both feel the same way, there is a show on ESPN radio called All Night with Jason Smitt. This man actually went on the air before the draft stating the saints should trade the number 2 pick because New Orleans isnt big enough for Bush. He later went on to say that NFL should do something to ensure he ended up in a bigger market. Oh the joys of being a graveyard shift radio host, you can say almost anything and get away with it.

Personally, I hope the team is underestimated and overlooked. I was pretty upset when all of the analysts picked the Saints to beat the Bears. This is still a team that should play with a chip on it's shoulder.

As for Petrino and the Birds, I hope everyone remembers the Spurrier era. The "Fun-n-Gun" was a major NFL flop. I hope Bobby does try to run some option crap. He'll find out quickly just how fast NFL LB's and secondaries are. This is not CUSA or the Big East. Plus, Ron Mexico is calling audibles now. The Falcons' O is going to be a circus of errors. Vick's had so much turmoil this offseason, that it will have to be a distraction. Joe's going to get POed because he's not getting anything to catch and turn into the locker room cancer that only he can. The rest of the rec corp is crap. Dunn is over the hill. The only bright spots will be Norwood and the D.

I only hope that he quits the Falcant's after this season is a total debacle. Then Peyton and him make nice, he comes back to the Saints to be our #2 or #3 WR and retires in black and gold as it should be.

Forget Horn, I hope KK lights him up, course he probably won't have the chance because Horn will be in street clothes on the sideline like he has the last two years.
Man, at times I wonder if you like anybody?
