Good read, good post. More Alleman quotes:
"but I haven't lost any of my confidence. It's just a matter of learning the new plays, getting accustomed to everything -- mental reps, physical reps and going from there." "Everything has been fast-paced, and I have to get acclimated to the heat, too. You can't prepare for the heat and humidity." The heat will make you its b***h, whether you like it or not. |

With Alleman, the Saints got an effervescent, athletic left guard in the third round. Listed at 6 feet 4 and 302 pounds, the Akron product ran a noteworthy 5.07-second 40-yard dash at the NFL combine.
"Alleman's done a good job early on," Payton said. "Those guys are swimming in there, because we're giving the linemen a lot of offense -- and they're getting a lot of defensive fronts. He's handled it well, and he's done a good job of picking up everything we're giving him." On draft day, Alleman was giddy, rattling off Saints players like a fan, touting himself as "the most athletic lineman in the country." During his first minicamp, he admitted that it would be a challenge, "but I haven't lost any of my confidence. It's just a matter of learning the new plays, getting accustomed to everything -- mental reps, physical reps and going from there." I'm just curious, what is it about this kid you guys don't like, me personally I love the kids potential and his attitude, he will end up being a force for us for a long time. |

What I thought was interesting was Allemans old coach saying he would make a good center. That made me feel so much better now lets see if he do both by next year.
The others are depth thats all I expect from them. If a starter comes from the group that will be great .If not oh well. Top notch backup is fine with me. |

...I don't care if his breath smells like turd and he runs an 8 second 40, as long as he keeps Drew Brees on his feet
