The Associated Press reports the New Orleans Saints have hired retired RB Fred McAfee as the director of player programs.

I love Fast Freddie

Today and 25 years from today, Fred McAfee will be considered the ultimate Saint. Never in trouble, and does whatever the club asks of him.
I am very pleased the club made this move. Just another class act for what is quickly becoming a class organization.

Thanks again Fred for your years of service.
