The Rams game because this franchise had struggled so much, and they finally got the monkey off their back, somewhat. I remember I was a freshman in high school and I was running around the house in my Deuce jersey screaming my head off, I scared my mom to death. And the home opener last year was so amazing. For so many months every fan of the Saints felt that rock in the bottom of our collective stomach. We all had that "they couldn't really take 'em from us, could they? Could they?!?!?!" feeling. And then it was all gone, and everything seemed to be right. I was actually in London during the game, which is a 7 hour time difference, and I stayed up until 6 in the morning watching the game in the dark while my roommates slept. I kept silently screaming under my breath. Haha besides maybe a few times, I can't remember going to sleep so satisfied, if you know what I'm saying. |
