man o man am i glad i could not sleep so I could do this one.
The kid seemed to have all the chatter around him during the sophmore year at maryland that an agent could wish for. But then came the back injury. what kind of injury I'm not sure. (Disc to Vertabra were mentioned) But a year out would put it in the semi serious to serious range. That alone is a big red flag for any interior lineman. During that time he flunked school and moved to Morgan state. Had a so-so year against less than stiff comp.. He had the speed, size and strength at maryland but never got it all back at morgan st. Big flags here. Attitude-getting into a funk and flunking out, Back injury and poor recovery performance. Skipping his senior season? Totally stupid is how I would sum the kid up myself. Totally stupid on all fronts. Now you want to draft a kid like this, with no OTAs and go straight into camp? Missle hit on the head. UDSFA A look see wont hurt besides blue cabs and beer can make the trip worth while. Gotta love the Cheasepeak Bay That is how we found Bushrod, A couple of beers and a case of crabs. |
