Remember when...
-- The Saints were playing the Texans and that HUGE rat ran on the field while David Carr was in the shotgun. The rat went right for him, and he looked pretty alarmed. I think the refs blew the play dead. Only in New Orleans!
-- At the LHSAA football championships a couple years ago when the toilet in Benson's suite overflowed, causing the ceiling to collapse with water in the press box. Good times, only in the Superdome! -- Back in the day, the Saints were on the road (San Fran?) and a fan rushed the field. It looked like he was headed for Bobby Hebert, until Stan Brock gave the dude a monster clothesline. A real de-cleater. -- Speaking of Hebert, how about the game (in the Dome, i think), when the cameras had him in a closeup and he just happened to hack a monster loogie, except the cobb got caught in his facemask, and slowly dribbled down...all the while the cameras are in monster zoom. I wonder if their will be any shenanigans this year, they are much more fun when we're winning. |

All of that fades in comparison to the fireworks malfunction. I remember watching that flame slowly fall from the rafters, hit the AstroTurf and still was burning, the guy with the water cooler tripping and missing the whole fire, only in New Orleans, now that was hilarious.

I remember back when Bum Phillips was coaching the Saints, he had his cowboy hat taken off his head by someone in the stands as he was walking into the locker room at halftime in L.A. They showed it on TV and then showed him flipping off a fan in the stands.

Remember when the Nfl tried to silince the fans? i think it was a home game against the Rams. They had a first and goal inside the 5. The fans were nuts. We got flagged for being to loud. Wrong move. We got louder till it was first and goal and no half the distance to goal could be marked off. They had to run the play. they stopped throwing that flag the rest of the game. Gotta love it. FU NFL we will not be silienced
