The New Orleans Saints signed free agent wide receivers Tramain Hall and Aaron Hosack to two-year contracts Friday. The signings were announced by Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis. Hall, 25, joins the Saints after spending the past spring with the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe, where he made 16 catches for 273 yards with two touchdowns. Hall also returned four punts for 68 yards, nine kickoffs for 217 yards and had one special teams tackle. He went to training camp with the Tennessee Titans in 2006. The 5-10, 190 pounder played three seasons at North Carolina State and ranked sixth in school history with 125 career receptions for 1,466 yards and tied for eighth in school history with 12 touchdown receptions. He also registered 462 career punt return yards, the sixth highest total in school history and added 51 rushes for 236 yards. Hosack, 25, comes to New Orleans after spending the spring of 2007 with the World Bowl runner-up Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europa. In 2007, Hosack recorded nine receptions for 289 yards (32.1 avg.) with four touchdowns. Hosack was named to the All-NFL Europe team after a standout season with Frankfurt in 2006 for the World Bowl XIV champion Galaxy as he recorded 36 catches for 473 yards with four touchdowns. He played for Frankfurt in 2005 and led his team and was tied for fourth in NFL Europe with four touchdown receptions. Hosack went to camp with the Minnesota Vikings in 2006 and was released prior to the regular season. He spent most of the 2004 campaign on their practice squad. The 6-5, 229 pounder was a two-year letterman (2002-2003) at Minnesota where he ended his college career ranked eights and on the school's career list for receiving yards with 1,463 and touchdown receptions with 11.

Hosack hmm thats a name I have not heard in a while. Being a mighty gopher alum i now a bit about him. the first thing is can he play a bit at TE? He will not set`the`world on fire with speed but he did have good hands and worked the middle pretty good in college. Thats about it.
interesting, signing two`WR. Shawn must think we need more bodies at camp for the QBs to throw to. got me scratching my AGAIN.
