He is definitely better than some late draft choices and some late signees that were released from other teams. He would be an asset on special teams and as a backup safety.
His problem seemed to be that he was a bit too light for LB, which he played a lot of at GTech. He switched to safety in 2005 and was probably considered too raw to get drafted. Judging from his NFLE stint, he seems to be learning the SS position very well. He could be a diamond in the rough.

Anyone remember an undrafted LB/SS tweener we had from USC that ended up being a pretty solid safety for us? Hint: His Berman nickname was "Good".
