this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He's playing for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats versus the Toronto Argonauts right now on direct TV channels 644 and 656. they seem to show quite a few CFL games. For those who don't know, Hamilton wears the black and yellow. interesting ...

TG's cousin was bitter about his being released, but he's a good dude. Seems TG would be somewhere in the NFL, if it was meant to be. He may get another shot.
I'm reminded of being in a singles chat room, and this chic was excited about her cousin coming to play for the Saints. She went into details about him growing up. "Yeah, he would cut Aunty Em's yard for free." type stuff. I had never heard of him, so I didn't give it much thought. The player? Joe Horn. She was from here or Miss, but we never hooked up..... |

I always had high hopes for him. He had great tangibles.
Could be just another young player ruiined by the previous administration's inability to develop potential. If Haz had drafted Colston, he'd be playing in the arena league right now. |

I've always defended his talents... he just could never put it together. I hope he succeeds over there.

Two other players of note in that league I saw playing were ex-McNese State (Lake Charles) QB and Seattle safety Kerry Joseph getting his QB shot with Saskatchewan and playing well--gun for an arm and can run. the other is ex-Chiefs WR Marc Boerigter on his second CFL stint. their are some guys who I think could play in this league, esp the skill position guys in which the CFL emphasizes "imports" aka Americans over the "non-imports" aka Canadians who tend to be the linemen, LBs and slow WR/slotback types. the CFL has a limit on how many "imports" you can have on a roster. again, the games are fun and often shown, usually on tape delay, on the various 600 series channels on Direct-TV. so far I've seen games on Alt, Comcast, and NESN. with only 8 teams, its possible to see every game in each weekend conceivably. I saw ex-Bengal Akili Smith as a reserve QB with Calgary. not too good. I'll keep yall posted on any other ex-Saints I see.

Akili Smith.... The Bungles selected him, rather than accept our package to move up for Ricky. RW spread his special kind of mojo around three different franchises.
