actually, i think if meachem can get healthy, he will win the other starting job and that would make a tight race for 3rd wr between copper and devery henderson who is great in the slot

So you think that Allenman is going to be able to take over that other guard spot. I guess that means that while he's not as talented as he thinks he is, he must be talented enough to start. SFIAH |

I don't see Copper in the starter picture. He has to worry about Meachem looking over his shoulder, anyway. I think Patten, Colston, and DH will start. With two wide sets, I'm betting on DH and Colston.

I think the number receiver slot is not all that important. Meachem will eventually have it. When is the question. But the rest all have their different skills and place in our offense. Henderson I think will continue to be our home run threat, but I don't see us relying on a guy (except Brees as someone mention above). Our depth and the many options we have is what made us so good last season. I don't see it happening any differently.

I'm thinking maybe Bush over McAllister, but thats not really debatable. They are actualy both starters, it just depends on the situation. If we start in a 3WR set, exit Johnson, insert Patten. It may be wiser to list the starters for Standard Offense, 3 WR sets, 2 TE sets, etc. Its kinda funny, with Payton we really have about 14 real starters. It all depends on which formation you start a game with. |
