Ranking the Best Backfields...
And I'm not talking about Erin Andrews.

I think the stupidity of this list just blew out Fred Taylor's knee. |

Our running game could have been better last year. Honestly I think it's about right. Now had Bush ran the way he ran the second half of the season the first half, I'd move us above Minnesota. 6 is still very high and I doubt there's a big gap between teams 2-6.

The problem I have with Minn being ahead of the Saints is the same problem for the best NFL WR list I saw earlier this year that had Calvin Johnson ahead of Colston. Calvin Johnson has not played a down. You can't just automatically say he is better than a WR who had 1000 yards rec last year.
In this list the genius creating has a RB tandem that includes a rookie who has never played a snap over the saints who have Reggie Bush and Pro Bowl RB Deuce McAllister. That makes no sense at all. |

Remember, Reggie did not have a great year RUNNING the ball. His average most of the year was around 3.1 ypc, and then he had the big game against the Giants. That's why we are sixth.
These rankings mean nothing. Who else on that list can put both players on the field at the same time, AND use them effectively? We had the #1 offense in the league and only lost a part-time starter at WR and a backup OL. Rank us however you want. |

Keep it coming. the more the Saints feel they are overlooked the better the chances they will come out swinging in Indy. Anyone else realize we are about 9 1/2 weeks from Kickoff 2007! 6 from Kickoff Hall Of Fame! This is it guys. Super Bowl or bust. I WILL NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THIS YEAR!

I agree with all the points up here
It makes me mad also because we do (in my opinion) have 2 of the best RB’s in the league But many people brought up some very good points about the efficiency of our running game But this year if all goes as planed... that should change
