Preseason???
I just wanted to get your opinions on the Preseason
I have heard that many people think it’s a total waist of time due to the fact that you are risking injuries on games that don’t count. What are your thoughts on this subject and do you see the NFL getting rid of them? |

I don't think it is a total waste, but there are too many games. 2 for most teams and 3 for a few others (including the HOF game) should be plenty. They're always talking about how long the 16 game season is, but they still throw in 4 or 5 preseason games. Teams need time for competition to develop, but I think it's too much as it is.
They'll never reduce the amount of preseason games without adding to the regular season because they'd lose revenue. |

I would like to see two less games also. In reality they are all just glorified scrimmages.
The problem is that you can't add one just more game, or the schedule will be unbalanced, unless they put in place the neutral site. The PA would probably never go for an 18 game schedule. |

The preseason is the only place you can see some of the people trying to make it in the NFL play football now that NFL Europa is kaput. |

The players are already working out and preping for 20 games a season, why not make two more count.
Personally though I'd like to see the preseason shortened and the regular season stay the same. I don't want any more risk of injuries than needed. Teams can sign up for scrimages any time they want and already do. So except for the revenue owners get from televising the games and adding them to season ticket holders cst, there's no point in them. |

I'd like to see two preseason games, one at home and one away and then an 18 game season.
