Mickles: Questions for Saints to answer in preseason

Everybody keeps talking about his size but even the Saints official roster shows him at 298 lbs. If that's small, it isn't by much. I've seen him up close and i'm about 330 and 6'2", he ain't that small. Oh by the way, he's one of my favorite players.

I've always wondered that myself Joe. He's just more of a pass rushing DT than a space eater. He isn't exactly small at 6'2 298.

For the most part if you look at the running yards the defense gave up it was mostly on big plays that were bounced outside where the ends gave up containment and the LB's didn't make the plays. The result of a bunch of new guys that hadn't played together long enough to cover each others back. Look for a much better unit playing together this year.

I can't wait for the season to begin. The team looks better now, than they did at the end of last season, which is what every team wants.
