Giving My All
by Tramain Hall, NewOrleansSaints.com
Wide receiver Tramain Hall signed with the Saints as a free agent following a successful season in Europe this spring with the Cologne Centurions. Through nearly a week of training camp, Hall has made some fine catches and looks to compete for a place as a punt returner. This well-traveled wideout checked in with NewOrleansSaints.com following Wednesday morning’s practice. This morning practice went ok – I’ve had better days. Coach has been throwing so much at us I really just have to keep using every day to get better. Today we learned the two-minute drill which was a big step for me. We put signs in today which was a good opportunity for me to get a better understanding of how fast paced this offense. So I’ll be prepared when the two-minute situations come along. Re-adjusting to the NFL after a season with NFL Europe has its pros and cons. There were some really good players over there and some really good competition – sometimes people are just overlooked that are over there. Initially, when I went over there I was thinking that there would be less talent, but no, the NFL is the NFL. I was really shocked with the talent; they had some good corners and some good receivers that I got to compete with. Those guys should have been in the NFL, too. We were all over there to get better and prepare ourselves to come over here and compete, so that’s where I am right now. I think I’m fitting into this team really well. My wide receivers coach, CJ (Curtis Johnson), is doing a great job with all of us. I see myself as a great punt return, kick return guy for this team and contributing on special teams. From there I’ll work my way up in the receiving area and be able to stop thinking out there and just play the game. For this weekend’s game I’m hoping and praying for my share of playing time. I know the situation I’m in and hope to be able to show some of my stuff. All I can do now is go out there and play to the best of my ability and use my God-given gift. |

Re: Giving My All
One thing about this young man is certaily has confidence. I'm not sure he has a chance in hell of making the final 53 but you never know.

I agree...not much of a chance to make it, but you have to like his mindset. It must be tough to know you are pretty much just a camp body going in, but also knowing that this coach keeps the best players...that just makes people rise up to their highest level.
