Hola From Chicago

Contrary to what you may believe, there are Bears fans that didn't hold up Katrina signs.

Regardless, what are your guys opinions on your team and schedule? How do you think you'll fare this season?

Any thoughts on the Bears?

As for the Saints, the only team that could challenge them in the NFCS is Carolina. Even then, New Orleans' offense would still be too much for Peppers & Co. I really think the Saints offense is a major force, but the problem is that there is little to no defense.

Good, because I'll be looking for the one that did....

Still gotta see your boys play. Too early to tell. Hester's got to improve Rex and the D will be, well, scary as always.

As for the NFCS, this is a division (unlike the NFCN) that seems to have a new leader each year. On paper, I think the Saints still have the advantage.... but it's yet to be determined what will pan out in CAR, ATL and TAM. It's a loooong season my friend and anything can happen.

As for the Saints having little or no defense, let me remind you that we ranked 11th last year in total D and were only that low because of the occasional "big play". I see a big improvement on the defensive side of the ball, but it will take time to figure out who our starters are and get the team to gel.

Best of luck to you Chicago, because I want 12/30/07 to MEAN SOMETHING!!

Yeah, I know. It only takes a few butt-holes to do something stupid and heartless and gets everyone a bad label. I look for us to go 11-5 so the Bears better match it or plan to be in New Orleans in January.

Re: Hola From Chicago

I hope the Bears aren't too far ahead come week 16, because I probably couldn't stand another pathetic loss to the Packers.

Otherwise, I fully expect a 6-0 record in divisional. But, since strange things tend to happen, I might expect a 5-1 record.

Our schedule is considerably tougher this year with SD, DEN, KC, PHI, and NO.

The first week should be interesting as you face the Colts and the Bears go to SD.

Re: Hola From Chicago

Yeah those are two solid games to start the year off with. Playing teams in the AFC West is always going to be tough (scratch the raiders)..... Hopefully the saints continue the winning ways they left off with last year and I think if Bush is able to continue his upswing and get off to a fast start, then he will definitely help this offense explode!

I have heard rumblings ( I work with a Chicago fan) that you gys are very excited about the offense with Hester getting some snaps and Greg Olsen apparently is a man among boys...

All I know is, we may lose every game this season. But Chicago is circled on the calendar. Revenge is known as one of the highest motivators in mankind, things could get ugly.

When the Saints were on the clock for pick 27, I was really hoping they would take Olsen. I think he was a steal for the Bears.

IMO, they should have kept TJ over Benson. They have a very good receiveing corp not counting Hester and Olsen, but Rex "F@$% it, i'm going deep" Grossman is still the QB. Good luck with that.

I'll gladly keep Rex. He can only get better, and he is.

Re: Hola From Chicago

Welcome to our site Rambo.

I see us winning the division our-right, maybe one loss, and lossing no more than four for the year.

As far as our teams opening games, yes, will be keeping an eye on y'all and SD. Good luck to y'all this year, except for when y'all play us. Come back anytime.
