Does everyone feel better now?
Does everyone feel better now that the Cowboys beat the Colts 23-10 and the Bengals lost to the Lions in their first preseason games? This, especially the Cowboys beating the Colts by 13, goes to show that these preseason games do not show us much about what we will see when the real season arrives. So everyone who is so worried about our loss to the Stealers, just settle down.

Re: Does everyone feel better now?
What I was upset with was the lack of effort and energy. We just looked like no one cared about their job. However according to everything i've read, so were the players after reviewing the films.

First thing I thought when I woke up and watched Sportscenter today... Nice to have some perspective, but I agree the lack of effort was what scared me at first. Things will be fine.

You can look back the past 4 or 5 years, the Colts blow every preseason. They use this time to evaluate their young players. They already know what they'll get from their seasoned vets.

Re: Does everyone feel better now?
I was never worried in the first place. From the opening snap, I could tell the team had no energy. They looked tired, which doesn't suprise me after two-a-days in Louisiana.
But they won't look that way on Sept 6. Of that I'm sure. |
