Our early BUY???
Our early BYE???
While watching the Bills game Friday, one of my friend asked what we all thought about the Saints having the BYE early in the season I was suppressed to find everyone had a different but interesting opinion about this so I figured the same would happen if I asked the question here. So the 2 questions are… Do you think the location of the BYE week plays that big of a role on how a teams overall performance is throughout the length of a season? and How do you think the early BYE will play out for the Saint’s season? |

Is that like a period where everyone in the organization gets to go on a spending spree at someone else's expense? I am hoping you meant BYE week.
I think luck has more to do with it. Injuries happen, and if there are a lot of them, having a bye week gives more time to heal. Unless you can show that injuries can be planned, then no. As for the Saints - Choose between Red and Black on the roulette wheel. |

Re: Our early BUY???
early byes suck
mid season to late season would be the best. True you can't predict the timing of injuries, but fatigue(physical and mental) can be eased during the bye week. Too early is a DISADVANTAGE for most teams. And an early bye is part of the conspiracy against the SAINTS by the NFL to try and get a team to Los Angeles. i did not proof read my post so if i spelled something wrong have fun...LOL |

Re: Our early BUY???
I hate the BYE week as it is currently implemented. It is unfair to all teams because it is not evenly applied. The only way it could really work is to give every team the same week off - maybe at the half point in the season. Otherwise, it is BS that some teams have to take it early in the season and others get it at the midway point.

Re: Our early BYE???
It depends on how we do in those first three games. If we come out of them 3-0 it will be bad because it will stop the momentum. You don't want a bye when you're on a roll. If we come out of it 0-3 or 1-2 it will be good because it will give us time to regroup and refocus.
