Brooks Ready to Go!!!

If he will make his reads
I gotta, say, he is slow and progressing through his reads. By the time he decides to tuck it away it\'s too late. I would have thought that familiarity with his recievers would begin to offset his delay in acquiring the next target, but he seems to lock onto #1 and then get happy feet if there\'s no window. He forces the ball so much because his mindset is to make plays even at the last second of opportunity...thus he throws pics, the ball slips out, or he gets the ball batted out at the last second. If his progression was quicker he could be slipping out of the pocket when the pass protection is still there, not after these guys have been wrestling for 6-7 seconds and it\'s breaking down. This is a fundamental weakness in his game. When Brooks has time or a the primary target gets immediate seperation then look out because Brooks can make you pay like few other QB\'s in the game. If coverage is there on the first two reads then the defense is starting to get the edge because he is too late escaping or using a dump off.
