this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think some of us need to realize that the 2006 draft was special and we got extremely lucky that year. What that rookie class did for us was amazing and we can't expect finds like that every year. Rookies ...

I think some of us need to realize that the 2006 draft was special and we got extremely lucky that year. What that rookie class did for us was amazing and we can't expect finds like that every year. Rookies take time to develop and Meachem is no different. Give the guy some time before you label him as a bust, first rounder or not, it takes time and because of his injury and missed practices he's a little behind.
