Re: Just for fun.....
I say Pierre- Moore has had a great camp, but he scares me at PR. Pierre can return kicks and has made a few ST tackles.
As for Hollis, we have been hearing this 'ideal weight' nonsense for four weeks now. How overweight was he at the start of camp 30 days ago? He should have lost 15-20 pounds by now. We have a game in 11 days- are we to expect he will be ready? He ran his mouth early about a big contract, he got the deal he wanted, and then he spent his summer vacation at Cracker Barrel. |

Re: Just for fun.....
Pierre is the better player of the 3. Hollis is too fat. Fred is toast. But if I had to keep one...i'm sad to say that I'd probably keep Fat Hollis. Joe, I agree with everything you said about the guy, but I still don't trust our ability to stop the run. At least hollis can still big that big body in the middle who can plug up holes in the middle. He is not a bad player...in fact he is still a good player IMO. Until we get a middle linebacker who can stuff the run...I would rather have the big guy pluggin the middle.
But I love the way Pierre plays. |

Re: Just for fun.....
Ole Thomas Hollis was a great player for the Saints last year, except for the last four games during regular season. But if the dude cannot stay away from Popeyes and KFC, which is hard to do, then I say he needs to go. The dude signed a big contract in the offseason and now looks to have lost his starting job. There is no way the Saints can pay him the big money as a second string player. On the other hand, I say give him some more time. This year is all about winning a Superbowl. At some point his fat ass will bail us out of some situation. Maybe his fat ass will stuff Tom Brady for a key sack in the Superbowl?
