Best qb this pre-season?

Is there a quarterback out there playing better this pre-season than Brees?
Shoot, is there any player looking as good or better than Drew?

In my opinion, this is a guy who is one of the best quaterbacks in a league that has Manning, Brady, Favre, and McNabb lining up under center.

At last, my optimism and expectations are high going into a football season.

... preseason play may not mean much, but it is undeniable that Brees has been laser-sharp on every outing.

Peyton has looked sharp also. The game against the Colts will be a hell of a game to watch.

Agreed. Haven't seen a three-step-drop look this good since Montana.

Ron Jaworski kind of pissed me off when he stated last night that Carson Palmer was one of three elite QBs in this league and that Brees wasn't on the list (Brady and P. Manning were the others).

I hope that Brees caught that snippet last night and uses it for motivation for the season. Finishing as the #1 QB in the league (again) on the #1 offense in the league (again) as the league MVP on hopefully the last team standing at the end of the season should shut up all that stupid kind of talk.

Re: Best qb this pre-season?

I like most of the rest of you really don't care what Jaworski thinks. To me he wasn't that good a quarterback when he was playing. He's not even that good as an announcer. What I do care about is what we as fans think of our players. They entertain us. Why should we care what others think? Let them worry about their own teams. I couldn't care less how good someone elses players are until they play us. They can all KMA!
