and that's why! Touchdown Colts. You don't give the ball back to THAT team if you can avoid it!

Re: What the Hell?!?!?
What's wrong with out team tonight? I know, it's the Superbowl champs, but still.
We haven't stretched the field At All tonight. A bunch of short passes. Brees hasn't had ANY protection... hurried most of the downs. I don't get it. This doesn't look like our Saints from last season. I know, it's early in the season, we've got 15 more games to go. I'm just hoping last year wasn't a fluke. |

Re: What the Hell?!?!?
Of Note: The Saints played Peyton and the SuperBowl champs, at home, season opener, after Peyton and their coaching staff had 2 1/2 - 3 weeks to watch tape and prepare game plans. Oh, yeah, and they were an AFC team, too.
How many more times will that happen this season? None. We're 1 / 15 th of the way there. We have plenty to work on, obviously. A lot of those players are going to watch film and see where they went wrong. And maybe Payton will see -- after his last 2 games (Bears & Colts) -- where his play-calling needs to improve (don't give up on Deuce and the run) |
