SFIAH - I agree that the Saints should have tried pounding the ball. Doesn't matter who, just line up one of the RB's behind Karney and get busy. If it results in a punt, so what. Eventually, it will open up the offenses opportunities. Too bad tonight was all about bad blocking...
I think the Saints should always have a goal of running the ball 40 times per game. Eventually that will force 8 man fronts and open up enough passing lanes for a guy like Brees to have his way with defenses. With one of the best FB's in the business, along with two of the best RB's, it would be lethal. |

Plenty of time to iron out some issues but i agree you gotta run the ball when the Colts D figured on making the throws difficult with their D scheme.
