Re: Moratorium on Bashing Friday 12:00am
I don't know if anyone has notice the pattern of S.P. it started in the NFC champ. game where he refuse to run the ball. Throwing the ball around the yard is fine once you establish the run. If you go back to young peyton manning when they threw the ball all over the place never one the big games. Until they thought run first then play action. We were playing one of the worst rush def. in the league. I'm just saying once it's ok twice it's a pattern. It's called football run the damn ball.

We are a good club but we are not there. I sit in Boston and have all these Pats fans around me and have learned a lot from the Pats on how to build a winner. So I am very critical, maybe to much so, of the moves we make. It does take time. So soon we better invest in the defense with good picks. We are not going to do it with the "one year contract plug and patch" idea we are doing now on defense. i know it is only year 2, but this draft yielded little, yet, that will get us over the top and put us in the league of the top 5 teams in the NFL. Bit the bullet and get these young players some quality playing time for next year. If the trade rumors are true about Freddie T then I am really skeptical about cutting any young CB. Now you got Rob? If they just think he is not healthy enough option I can live with it. But if it is some kind of cute move on the waiver wire it was stupid. Like picks 4 and 5 this year. Till we stop the spankings I am looking for more changes to get there. I am waiting to see what the heck we are doing. Like I said we are not an elite team in the NFL and that is because of the defense. So I have to worry. I want us there for at least 10 years. Knocking on the door is nice but I want to join the party. I agreed with you Cher. |
