You should never draft a WR unless you expect to give him the time to develop. Typically yes 3-4 years it takes. You like Henderson??? He cracks the line-up and a starter in the 4th year.

Other positions its a lot easier for some to develop a lot faster but WR is one of the most difficult.

He does show promise so there is no way I would put him in the bust category just yet.

All true. But when you have the #1 offense in the league and the worst run defense in the league, and bad cornerback play, and your receivers seem to be inter-changeable, the last thing you need to draft #1 is a receiver. We need LBs CB, DL, and OL. WE DIDN'T NEED HIM, and he's not going to be able to contribute while Deuce is in his prime. I hated that pick. And it looks even worse now. Great job Sean.

Well that is a whole other topic all together this was just about Meachum.

If they cut Meachum, they will be looked at in the league, as idiots. And someone else will get him, quickly. I do not think he was the only reason they lost. If he would have played, they would have still lost.
