concern at the wide reciever position?!?!?!

does anyone think our recievers may be a concern this year. After watching that nightmare on thursday night i couldn't help to wonder where was henderson & colston the whole night. Do yall think that brees didnt' have time to find them or they weren't getting open. I for one didn't think we would miss joe horn, i'm starting to wonder now?!?!?

colston did decent job. henderson,? offensive line play sucked, you would have thought colts had radio tap and knew every play.are we that easy to read,or colts lucky to always have the perfect defense?

Deep zones make you throw underneath or RUN. Colston is fine, devery is devery, patton is a good back-up, Meachum is a bust, Moore's got game. Next week will tell. Tampa 2 is coming. We need to pound the rock and set up the pass.

the line was making brees hurry...that was the problem. he didn't get the ball exactly where he usually does...devery looked just fine too btw.

If you don't have time to throw you can't blame the receivers. All we could do was throw underneath, no running game to open up our offense.

too early to put the word "bust" into it. You got millions for the next 4 years so except he is not a Colston but he has not seen the field yet. He might need that 3 year curve they talk about.
As for the unit as a whole the word is Young. We will have growing pains. If Patton stays healthy we have a great vet.
The way the line played Thurs. it is hard to judge anything. Ask again at the break

I think our WRs will be fine, the whole way the Colts game was played made it a difficult task to go through the air.The Colts also played a pretty deep coverage and Sean will know to go to the ground in future when that happens.

Meachum a bust???

Its way to early to be even hinting of that. It take 3-4 years for a WR to develop on average. There are of course your rare exceptions but you have to give a WR 3-4 to develop.

WR's weren't the problem so much as the O-line and you have to give props to the Cots for taking away the deep ball. That was all Colts.

I was looking for Henderson to go deep down filed but Brees just didn't have the time for the deep ball to develop..
I'm not worried about our receivers at all, it's the line that has me worried..

When your number one does not even dress for the first game (yes, he had surgery but he doesn't even know the playbook yet), you start thinking bust. Ok, I'll give him this first year, but 3-4 years??? Com'on. I'd rather see some more Moore.
