this is the one reason i believe it isn't a privledge to play in the nfl, but a choice.......
i wish nothing but speedy recoveries to all the injured..........
to make that 53 man roster has become a bloodbath of sorts.......
because of the money involved now, so many take it pass the limit to make the team
.........and others have to pay the price of being just as good, but not so savage......or
in the wrong place at the wrong time.........but believe me, the headhunters roam........
and we not only endorse it, we cheer it on.................makes me rethink it at an older age.
either there were far fewer cases yrs ago, or just not reported.........the first, is what i believe...........anyway......................just venting..............smitty

Yes I heard them talking about it on the radio as well. There were saying its been the most season ending injuries on opening day than since 8 years. I mean those guys know what they are getting themselves into. Its a sports of injuries. Hell you could get hit by a bus crossing the street.

This is why I am for the draft picks that the Saints made this year. The did not try to get player to start, who were not going to beat out the current starter. They went and got good players to be backups at spots where they needed depth. They know what they are doing.
