Speaking of wide outs, I have been thoroughly impressed with Lance Moore's ability to get open and catch the ball. Didn't drop a thing all pre-season. He gets good separation and even made a couple of adjustments in order to make the catches... and he catches with his hands (Rice/Carter like). He seems to have that IT, whatever IT is. It would be nice to see him more often than on special teams but he just finds himself in tough company. We are deep in the WR slot. He'll be sucking hind tit for a while.

I think a lot of guys are going to be eating crow in a couple of years when it comes to this Meachem kid. I think at some point this year he's going to make a few significant plays for us, mark my words.

We hope so! And so did Terrance Copper.

If this offense can make a seventh round draft choice, and some cast aways like Copper, and Jones, look like reputable receivers, I'm sure it can do SOMETHING for Meachem...Or anybody for that matter.

I'm just saying...

And Hagan...you should know this as well as anyone...Their were better options available that we needed immediately.

But he'll probably be OK.

When do you think he will make the field, at least as the 3? Moore is way ahead of him.
